Walking in the rain...

Thursday is hiking day and even though it was a rainy day in Cape Town, we headed out for a walk in the Newlands Forest, nestled against the side of Table Mountain.

I couldn't resist taking a pic of this sign, good to know that someone has thought of that, unfortunately its seems to be a universal phenomenon that dog owners still have to be reminded to clean up after their pets!

Almost weekend! :)

  2. Yes, we always have a supply of poo bags. Once she forgot to pick them up on the way back and we got to do the walk ALL over again!

  6. I don't know if you are familiar with American movies but a
classic is one called "Walking in the Rain" staring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. That old movie made walking in the rain look like fun :-)

  10. At least you like the rain little one.... My Yorkie loves the rain too but her chihuahua aunt (my mom's dog) does NOT which makes it tuff.

  11. I just read about sweet Abbey's accident and I absolutely was choking back tears by the time I finished. I think I stopped breathing at some point. I love by furbabies to the point that some people I know think it's an obsession. No one but another pet owner would understand the love and commitment we make to our pets.

I have a little Yorkie also - he's my latest edition - we've only had him about 2 months. I've had dogs all of my life but he's different. Maybe it's little dog syndrome - but he's not like any other dog I've had. I cannot imagine what I would do if I went through what you did with Abbey and I'm so thankful for her miracle recovery. God was definitely watching over her.
