Mom's going a -walking...

The beach where my human spends most of her mornings - walking in preparation...

In my home, it seems as if my human is totally obsessed with all her preparations for her big walk coming up in June. From what I gather she's going to attempt to walk 780 kilometers to go to church in Spain (imagine me shaking my head right now - humans - who gets them??).

So all I know is that for a couple of weeks she's not going to be around and she's yet to sit us down and explain exactly who is going to take care of us during the time she's away. There's a lot to organise and I just hope she's going to remember to put us high on her list of priorities.

Firstly - there  is the morning routine. We all get different treats as we all like different things. I'd like to know who is going to make sure that we all get the right snacks. Then there's Chloe's allergies. I hope she realises that if Chloe eats the wrong stuff, she WILL have hectic vet bills waiting for her when she gets home...

And what about our walks, I want to know. Whoever walks us needs to be told which houses to avoid. Some of these humans have packs that make a 1,5 kgYorkie feel a tad inadequate. I don't need my blood pressure to shoot through the roof on account of a loud mouthed mutt (or two) who would like to turn me into a mid morning snack!

She'd also be well advised to ensure my spot in bed at night. I sleep exactly in the middle of the two pillows on their bed, with a human on either side of me. And she'd better tell them that if they wake up in the middle of the night and I'm standing with my two front paws on one of their faces, that means I want a drink of water.

Come to think of it, I'd better set up a family meeting with the other three members of my pack. If she thinks she's got a lot of planning to do for her 'big walk', she has no idea how much planning there is going to be to ensure that the four of us are kept happy while she is away! She'd better also be prepared for a day of sulking once she gets back. We need to stand together as a pack and as we can't voice our feelings - a team sulk of sorts should get the message across.

We're gonna miss her SO much - but don't tell her that...

At least it's still three months before she leaves, so in the meantime, we might as well send you to her other blog so that you can see what she's up to!

Visitors spotted in the garden...

Who cares about who's visiting in the garden when there's eating and sleeping to be done!
