Escape from city life - again!!

My humans (and that's not one of them above, I promise...) have been gallivanting all over the show the last couple of weeks. If I didn't know better I'd swear we're moving down to second place on the list of priorities in this house...

Last week they travelled to the Kruger National Park and spent a few days travelling from lodge to lodge in the park. She tells me they saw all the members of the 'Big Five' in the first two days, not bad!

The little vervet monkey above was spotted in one of the camps - if you'd like to see more pictures of their trip, click here.

In the meantime, us domesticated creatures are still sulking, so don't hold your breath for any updated photographs of us just yet - she'll have to spoil us rotten before we play along again!

Oh, and by the way, do you know who all the members of the 'Big Five' are?

  2. Yep, we know the 'big five'.....only cause we have an open range zoo down the road. Not that we're allowed in...humph.

Sulk away and milk it for every treat you can get!

  3. Hey there friends!
Nice to see you blogging again. I am still sooo envious of your trip to the bush. Glad to get an update and I will be going off to see your photos at the next click.
BTW, did you know WHY they are called the big five? (I'm sure you do, but if you don't: It's because they are the most dangerous animals when ON FOOT!)

  4. Maxmom - you're spot on! For those of you who didn't know, the 'Big Five' is made up of the following animals - Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. To see them all in the space of two days, when they're all roaming around wild, is pretty special!

Hope you found that interesting Mr Oskar!

Hey, Daisy,Kendra and Bella - I can see we're on the same page!! :)
